Trevor Martin is an associate at Martland & Saulnier.
Trevor received his law degree from the University of British Columbia in 2015. In law school he won course prizes in constitutional and advanced criminal law, and gained early experience both defending and prosecuting cases in Provincial Court through different practice-based programs. After graduating he articled at a criminal defence firm in Vancouver. He then clerked for five justices of the British Columbia Supreme Court.
Upon his call to the bar, Trevor practiced at the federal Department of Justice with a focus on police, corrections, and immigration matters before joining Martland & Saulnier in 2018. Among other work, he acts as the ‘ward lawyer’ for Vancouver and Burnaby, representing youths in government care who are under criminal investigation or charge.
